RICHMOND – The 77th annual reunion of the descendants of James Lamb, Clan of Lamont, was held at the home of Gordon and Ruth Sherman on Aug. 19.

The oldest member present was Marjorie Brown, age 87; the youngest, Connor Sherman, 5 months old. Elaine Blossom traveled the greatest distance from North Branford, Conn. A potluck dinner and an auction were held.

New officers are president, Ruth Sherman; vice president, Elaine L. Blossom; secretary/treasurer, Jeanne L. Whittemore; and historian, Cathy Lovett.

It was voted to meet with Gordon and Ruth Sherman in Richmond again on the third Sunday of August 2008.
