LEWISTON – The Lewiston Elks Lodge 371 will hold a Sportsman’s Night on Friday, Sept. 21, to benefit the Maine Children’s Cancer Program at the lodge, 1675 Lisbon St. The doors will open at 6 p.m. and the raffle drawings will begin at 8.

Several sports-related raffles will be held, including a canoe, rifles, weekend camping trips, ice fishing equipment, fishing equipment and hunting equipment. Food will be available throughout the event. Several raffle packages will also be available, which offer additional savings.

Also taking place that night will be the official visitation of Maine Elks Association State President Bruce Brunelle and his wife, Lisa, of Sanford. The event will be open to members and guests.

The Lewiston Elks Lodge is a member of the Maine Elks Association, whose major project is the Maine Children’s Cancer Program. Each year the Maine Elks donate an average of $185,000 to help kids with cancer. For more information on the event, contact Pat Bolduc at 212-3140.
