Three benefit golf tournaments are slated in the near future.

The third annual Androscoggin Habitat for Humanity Golf Tournament is set for Sept. 21 at Springbrook Golf Club in Leeds. There are 16 entries so far. Peter van Oosten, event chairman, said he expects the number to increase to 20 before tee-off time at 9 a.m. To register or become a sponsor contact van Oosten at 946-4939.

The Maine Coalition to Fight Prostate Cancer Golf Tournament is scheduled for Sept. 29 at The Meadows at Litchfield. To register contact Ron Moody at 933-2948, or email at moody3377@aol.com.

The first annual Brunswick Coastal Rotary Golf Tournament is set for Friday, Oct. 5 at the Brunswick Golf Club. It is an 18-hole event, 4-person scramble with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. (registration by 8:30). The $75 entry fee covers greens, fees, carts and a barbecue. Prizes, raffles and contests will round out the day and help kick off the Columbus Day weekend.
