I would like to know whatever possessed the Auburn City Council to give a license for entertainment to the hot corner on Main Street? I have just read another place, “Midnight Special,” is soon to open.

What does the council have against those who live in the area and have to hear all this noise?

We assumed when the Midnight Blues closed we were at peace at last.

But now this is quite a shock to see the council does not care.

Are they going to tell us they are giving them a chance? I certainly wish they would give us a chance to have a good night’s sleep.

I wonder how they would like it if we taped the noise and go to their homes and play it at 2 a.m. and see how it feels! They certainly would deserve it!

I guess when we voted for these people we had been lied to.

They seem to care only about people who bring in the bucks! Thank you!

We will remember you when voting comes around next time.
