The first meeting for the 2007-2008 year of the Woman’s Literary Union Garden Club will be held at the home of Jeanne Pacheco, 56 Harold St., Lewiston, for lunch in her garden. Members will meet at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, to tour her gardens. They are asked to bring a box lunch. Beverages and dessert will be provided. Guests are welcome.
