PARIS – The Oxford Hills SCORE Chapter has scheduled workshops in business planning for business startups, which will be offered during October at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School, 256 Main St., under the auspices of the Oxford Hills Adult and Community Education Program. Workshops will be held on four successive Wednesday evenings. The workshops will be presented by members of SCORE.

“Preparing A Business Plan” will be presented on Oct. 3; “Marketing,” on Oct. 10; “Cash Flow Projection,” on Oct. 17; and “Financing A Small Business,” on Oct. 24.

Workshop content has been structured to provide information and assistance in writing a business plan, basic market research, projecting cash flow and obtaining financing for a new business. Writing a good business plan and understanding marketing and the details of cash flow and finances are vital to the success of any new business.

The fee for the four-session workshop is $45 and includes participation by one business partner or spouse. Advance registration with the Oxford Hills SCORE Office, (207) 743-0499, is required.
