WINTHROP – Jason Raymond answered a Madison touchdown with an 80-yard kickoff return in the second quarter to enable Winthrop to regain the lead and the momentum in a 27-12 victory Friday.

The Ramblers were leading 8-6 when Steve Kirkwood sprinted 15 yards for the go-ahead touchdown for Madison. The lead quickly disappeared when Raymond scored his second touchdown of the game on the ensuing kickoff.

Tyler Arsenault caught a 50-yard scoring pass from quarterback Jordan Conant in the third quarter, and Ricky Cobb finished the scoring with an 18-yard touchdown run in the final quarter.
