AUBURN – Announcement is made of the engagement of Rebecca Murphy and Allan Partridge, both of Waterville.

Miss Murphy is the daughter of Sharon and Steven Bryant of Auburn and William and Jean Murphy of Lewiston. She is also the granddaughter of Bessie and Anthony Hildreth of Auburn. She received a master’s degree in counseling and is working as a clinical counselor and teaching classes at Thomas College.

Mr. Partridge is the son of Richard and Susan Partridge of Augusta and Linda Paduan of Port St. John, Fla. He is also the grandson of Jeanne Murch. He is a student in the respiratory therapy program at Kennebec Valley Community College and is employed at Goodwill.

The wedding will be held on May 24 at the Poland Spring Resort.
