AUBURN – In conjunction with America on the Move Week and the Auburn-Lewiston YMCA’s open house, the YMCA is offering a free SilverSneakers event at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 28.

All older adults are invited to the YMCA for a one-hour muscular strength and range of movement class followed by a free lunch in the YMCA community center.

SilverSneakers is a comprehensive older-adult fitness program that addresses the needs of the older adult population. It is designed for older adults who want to improve their strength, flexibility, balance and endurance. The program also offers opportunities for socializing and making new friends.
