LISBON – Esther A. Tucker, deputy president of District 9, and her marshal, Priscilla Campbell, both of Liberty Rebekah Lodge 94, will install the officers of the three Rebekah lodges in the district on Wednesday, Oct. 3, in a joint ceremony that will be open to the public. It will take place at 7:30 p.m. at the Odd Fellows Hall.
The lodges are Colfax 27 of Mechanic Falls, Nina 86 of Lisbon and Liberty 94 of Auburn.
The installation staff will be Sue O’Connor of Nina, deputy warden; Nancy Waisanen of Liberty, deputy secretary; Joan Pike of Colfax, deputy treasurer; Mercena Abrams of Liberty, deputy chaplain; Ellen Parady of Liberty, deputy musician; Pearl Roberts of Nina, deputy inside guardian; Claudette Poulin of Nina, deputy outside guardian; and Lucille Nelson of Liberty, acting past noble grand.
A supper will be served by members of Nina Rebekah Lodge 86 at 6:30 p.m. Reservations are necessary to attend the supper. For more information, call Esther Tucker at 998-5359.
