Farmington – Beatrice M. Grover, 80, a resident of North Road in Fayette, died Saturday evening, Sept. 29, at Franklin Memorial Hospital in Farmington where she had been a patient.

She was born July 19, 1927, in Livermore Falls, the daughter of Raymond and Vernetta (Rainey) Veinotte. She attended school in Livermore Falls.

On July 15, 1966, in Livermore Falls, she married Montford H. Grover. Montford passed away Aug. 28, 1998.

Beatrice worked in the local shoe shops in Farmington and Livermore Falls. She enjoyed bingo and playing cards.

She is survived by her daughter, Judy May and her husband, Charles, of Bowie, Md; a son, John Merchant and his wife, Dianna, of Lisbon Falls; two stepdaughters, Brenda Mayberry of Livermore and Debra Grover of Lewiston; a brother-in-law, Donald Grover of Florida; and several grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by brothers-in-law, George, Clyde and Maynard Grover.
