AUBURN – The Auburn-Lewiston Kiwanis Club, led by President Patti Gagne, presented its 2007 scholarship awards to seniors from Edward Little, St. Dominic Regional and Lewiston high schools recently. Scholarship winners were Chase Phillips of Edward Little, Abigail Gilbert of St. Dominic and Keith Hopkins of Lewiston.

Each year, the Kiwanis Club selects a senior from each school who is going on to higher education based on need, academic achievement and community involvement.

Youth leadership development is a cornerstone of the Kiwanis community service programs. The Auburn-Lewiston club supports Key Clubs at Lewiston and St. Dominic Regional high schools and welcomes Key Clubbers at the Wednesday meetings.
