The Androscoggin County Chapter of United Bikers of Maine has donated a truck load of toys to Catholic Charities Maine Family Child Care. The toys were collected during the 26th annual Toy Run on Sept. 9. Bikers from all over the state joined the effort, including Gov. John Baldacci. “We are so grateful for the toys they have offered to us. This will be awesome for our subsidized families this Christmas,” said Sonja Carvalho of Catholic Charities Maine. Heather Butler of the Androscoggin Chapter and Carvalho unload toys.
