LEWISTON – Androscoggin Head Start and Child Care was the beneficiary of a food donation from the Northeast Belly Dance Association recently.

Attendees of the association’s recent Hafli, a celebration of music and dance held in Auburn on Sept. 9, were asked to bring a nonperishable food item for Head Start’s Crisis Closet, which is available for Head Start families in need.

The food was delivered to Head Start by Chontel MacNunn, an association member and instructor of Middle Eastern belly dance.
