LEWISTON – The Central/Western Maine Workforce Investment Board, in conjunction with Seasoned Workforce LLC of Rockland and the Lewiston CareerCenter, will offer a series of forums for older workers.

Based on a successful model that has yielded positive feedback and results, 8-10 local businesses will be invited to the two forums planned for Oct. 11 and 18, from 9 a.m.-noon. The forums will be held at the Lewiston CareerCenter, 5 Mollison Way.

Seasoned workers, 50 years of age or older, are encouraged to register for the forum, as attendance is capped at 45-50 workers. Any seasoned worker interested in attending is encouraged to call the Lewiston CareerCenter at 753-9000, or toll free at 1-800-741-2991.
