I am a strong supporter of the Animal Welfare Program and what they do to raise awareness of the disgraceful situation of the Buxton puppy mill and the owners responsible for the suffering of so many defenseless animals.

How anyone can find compassion for people who treat living creatures that way is something I will never understand.

I will fight wholeheartedly in support of the AWP and its continued defense of animals who do not have a voice.

I will continue to ask for the support of our senators to consider this kind of cruelty a serious and actionable offense. We are the only species on this planet capable of taking care of every other species.
