Heywood speaker

NORWAY – The Heywood Club will meet at 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 8, at the clubhouse. Speaker will be Lee Dassler of the Western Foothills Land Trust. Blood drive

BRIDGTON – An American Red Cross blood drive will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12, at Bridgton Healthcare, 186 Portland St.

Yard sale

PARIS – A yard sale and Chinese auction will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Oct. 12 and 13, at the parking lot of Family Counseling Services, 659 Park St., Route 26 toward West Paris. Proceeds will benefit the Families in Crisis Task Force.

Grange supper

OXFORD – A public supper will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, at the Oxford Grange 46, Route 26. The menu will be baked ham with raisin sauce. Cost is $7 for adults and $3.50 for children under 12.

VFW supper

PARIS – A public smorgasbord supper will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, at the VFW Hall. Cost is $6 for adults and $3 for children under 12.

Public buffet

WEST PARIS – A public buffet supper, featuring Finnish and American foods, will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, at the Finnish-American Heritage Center, 8 Maple St. Cost is $7 for adults, $3.50 for children under 12.
