Church luncheon

FARMINGTON – Old South First Congregational Church will serve its monthly free community luncheon from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13. The meal will be a New England boiled dinner with corned beef, cabbage, potatoes and carrots, rolls with butter and assorted cakes.

Delivery service will be available in the Farmington area.

Call the church office at 778-0424 during the week or the church kitchen at 778-4438 on the morning of the luncheon for meal delivered.

Harvest supper

LIVERMORE FALLS – The second annual Four Church Harvest Supper will take place at 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, at Eaton Memorial Methodist Church. Those who attend Eaton, Livermore Methodist, Wilton Methodist and North Jay Methodist are invited to bring a dish to share. The supper is sponsored by the Four Church Cluster.

Ministry meal

PHILLIPS – The Phillips Shared Ministry will cook its annual chicken supper from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19, at the Phillips Elementary School. The traditional menu will include roast chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing, cranberry sauce, peas, squash, coleslaw, rolls, assorted pies and beverage for $7 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under.

Committee to meet

LIVERMORE FALLS – The Veteran’s Day Committee will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16, at the American Legion Hall, 17 Reynolds Ave. All area veteran organizations are invited to attend.
