LEWISTON – The Lewiston Recreation Department’s Multi-Purpose Center Coed Volleyball League got underway this week.

In opening action in the B-1 Division Wednesday, Maine Commercial Door/Buddy T’s took three from Mountain Road RV, 21-5, 21-12, 21-9; Team Air Force grabbed two from Ducharme Masonry, 21-17, 24-25, 21-7; General Electric won two from Strout C.P.A., 21-17, 10-21, 21-17; Rowe Builders swept Janet McCarthy, Realty, 21-15, 21-11, 21-19; Downeast Pension took three from Shockers, 21-6, 21-12, 21-14.

In A Division play Thursday, Bio-Processing swept Lava, 25-23, 25-16, 25-19; Peru+2 took two from CWT Builders, 22-25, 25-18, 25-15.
