WATERFORD – The wedding of Kathryn Downs and Antonio Caiazzo was held at 4:30 p.m. on Aug. 25 at Bear Mountain Inn in Waterford. Ronald Cullenberg, notary public, officiated at the outdoor ceremony.

Mrs. Caiazzo is the daughter of Gary and Jean Downs of Industry. Mr. Caiazzo is the son of Vikki Spaltro of Westbrook and Antonio Caiazzo of Portland.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an ivory and champagne gown with sweetheart portrait neckline and beaded bodice, and she carried a bouquet of white roses and hydrangea.

Christine Kendall was matron of honor for her sister. Bridesmaids were Meagan King, Melanie Lord and Rhonda Cullenberg, friends of the bride.

Matthew Graffam, friend of the bridegroom, performed the duties of best man. Ushers were Matthew Cook and Samuel Stewart, friends of the bridegroom, and Jacob Kendall, brother-in-law of the bride. Garrett Kendall, nephew of the bride, was ring bearer.

A reception followed at the Bear Mountain Inn, after which the couple traveled to Ogunquit.

The bride is a graduate of Mt. Blue High School and the University of Maine at Orono with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She is employed at the Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Gorham High School and is currently attending Southern Maine Community College. He is employed at Foreside Management Company.
