NEW VINEYARD – A home burglary last week has resulted in arrests in Franklin and Somerset counties.

BillieJo McDonald, 20, of New Vineyard was arrested Thursday on a felony burglary charge and Christopher Shulenski, 20, and Duane Clukey, 18, both Madison, were arrested there on similar warrants issued by Franklin County Detective Thomas White.

A home belonging to Wayne and Patricia Knapp of New Vineyard was broken into Sept. 26 and eight firearms, a DVD player and other items were taken.

The DVD player has been recovered but not the firearms, Lt. Niles Yeaton of the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department said. Evidence left at the scene led police to the three suspects. A fourth suspect is also being investigated but has not been charged, he said Friday.

Investigating officers included Deputy Sandy Burke and Cpl. Nathan Bean.
