A junior art student at the University of Maine at Farmington, Giselle Scherle, of Lewiston, has been working on an art project on UMF’s park on High Street, across from Lake Avenue. Three tepee-looking type structures stand in a triangular shape. She said the theme for the project is shelter. She hasn’t yet named the work but it references an Irish element with a Celtic influence.
