LIVERMORE FALLS – Nomination papers for selectman will be available at the town office Friday, Oct. 12.

The election to fill the remaining term of Julie Deschesne, who left the post in September, will be held Tuesday, Nov. 6, at the town office.

Board Chairwoman Jackie Knight said the new selectman will serve until the June annual town meeting referendum, when the term expires.

And that person may choose to take out nomination papers again in March to run in June for a full term, Knight said.
