AUBURN – Pine Cone Chapter 26, Order of the Eastern Star, will meet at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 11, at the Masonic Hall, 1031 Turner St.

The meeting will be preceded by a program on Eastern Star Training Award for Religious Leadership. Supper will be served at 6:15 p.m. for a $3 donation. District 4 chapters participating are Pioneer 11, Lakeside 60 and Pine Cone 26. All money will go to the ESTARL Program. Barbara A. Inglis, past grand matron and member of the ESTARL Committee, will speak on the program.

The chapter will honor grand representatives, and special honors will go to Eleanor Peterson to Australia and Sharon McGilvery to Ohio.

Helen Shelton will be presented with her life membership certificate in Pine Cone Chapter and a 50-year pin from the Grand Chapter of Maine Order of the Eastern Star. Others receiving their life membership certificate will be Everett R. Meserve, past grand patron, and Florence Kunas.

All Eastern Star members are welcome.
