PARIS – Silver Moore-Leamon will be the worship leader on Sunday, Oct. 14, at the First Universalist Church, 36 Pine St., South Paris.

The sermon topic at the 10 a.m. service will be “Who Is Your Neighbor.” The music will be under the direction of Forest Perkins, church organist. Renee Wales is the Sunday school director. The coffee hour will follow in Good Cheer Hall. Everyone is welcome.

Society speaker

PARIS – The Paris Cape Historical Society will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 18, at the museum at 77 High St., South Paris. Barbara Swan Frost will speak on the Oxford Normal Institute.

The society has postcards, magnets and paper weights for sale featuring pictures of Paris many years ago. Refreshments will be served and everyone is welcome.
