WINTHROP – Brianna Tupper and Kelsey Ouellette each scored first half goals to push Winthrop to a 2-0 win over Boothbay Wednesday in a field hockey match-up.
Tupper scored first on a penalty stroke. Ouellette scored the insurance goal after picking up a feed from Kenzie Hill and pushing it into the goal. Winthrop dominated the contest with 44 shots on goal to Boothbay’s 12.
Emily Vickerson needed to make six saves to earn the shutout win.
Jay 6, Dirigo 1
JAY – Liz Leblanc netted a pair of goals and added an assist to lead Jay to a 6-1 victory over Dirigo in MVC field hockey action Wednesday. Katie Hall contributed for the Tigers (11-3) with a goal and two assists, while Katie Nemi, Shayna Merserve and Krysten Timberlake also tallied to complete the scoring. Brenda Allen made four saves in net to notch the win.
The Cougars (2-12) received their lone goal from Sam Webster, while keeper Courtney Knox deflected 22 shots.
Mtn. Valley 2, Livermore Falls 1 (2OT)
RUMFORD – Shawnee Akers scored the game winning goal with 6:24 left in double overtime to lift Mountain Valley to a 2-1 win over Livermore Falls.
Lauren Lepage scored the first Mtn. Valley goal on a pass from Emily Child.
For Livermore Falls (6-8), Whitney McDaniel tied the contest with 3:40 left in regulation.
Lisbon 3, Georges Valley 0
LISBON – Christy McAuliffe led a trio of players to record goals Wednesday as Lisbon finished off the 2007 campaign with a 3-0 victory over Georges Valley.
Amanda Stevens and McKayla Stevens also tallied for the Greyhounds (10-4) to complete the scoring.
Telstar 3, Hall-Dale 0
FARMINGDALE – Whitney Mills netted a pair of goals Wednesday as Telstar capped an impressive, undefeated season with a 3-0 victory over Hall-Dale. Chelsea Bean also tallied for the Rebels to complete the scoring.
Hebron 3, New Hampton 1
New Hampton, NH – Corinna Coupette tallied back-to-back goals off penalty corners in the first half to help lead Hebron to a 3-1 win over New Hampton, New Hampshire in field hockey Wednesday.

Sacopee Valley 2, Poland 1
POLAND – Emily Lane’s pair of goals included the game-winning penalty kick in the second half to break a 1-1 tie, lifting Sacopee Valley to a 2-1 win over Poland on Wednesday.
Lincoln 2, Oak Hill 2
WALES – The Oak Hill squad battled through regulation and a pair of overtimes Wednesday to finish the 2007 campaign with a 2-2 deadlock against Lincoln.
Hannah Gagnon scored both goals for the Raiders (3-10-1), while Maggie Sabine turned aside 23 shots in net.
Mtn. Valley 4, Jay 2
JAY – Kristen Blais notched a pair of goals to lead Mountain Valley to a 4-2 win over Jay/Livermore Falls in the teams’ final game of the season.
Terissa Ridge and Kate Thorn also scored for the Falcons (9-5), while Brittany Castonguay and Beth Moore scored for the Wildcats (2-11-1).

Lincoln Academy 2, Oak Hill 0
NEWCASTLE – Luke Alley and Pat Mullen scored to lift Lincoln Academy to a 2-0 season-ending win over Oak Hill on Wednesday. Kevin Conant made several stops in the second half to preserve the win.
Rangeley 2, Buckfield 1
BUCKFIELD – Luke Hammond and Andrew Teraleskey notched a goal each to lift Rangeley to a 2-1 win over Buckfield on Wednesday.
Cy Wilkinson notched the lone goal for the Bucks.
