DURHAM – The wedding of Rene Michelle Bowie and Brian Scott Peterson was held at 2 p.m. on July 1 in Durham.

Mrs. Peterson is the daughter of Roger and Tanis Bowie of Durham. Mr. Peterson is the son of Norma Lizotte and stepson of Norman Lizotte of Georgia, formerly of Saco.

Christie Peterson, friend of the bride, was matron of honor. Michael Peterson, brother of the bridegroom, performed the duties of best man.

A reception followed the ceremony in Durham. The couple is residing in Durham.
