Award-winning fiddler April Verch and her four-piece band will take the stage at the Franco-American Heritage Center tonight, courtesy of L/A Arts. Also a skilled step dance and vocalist, Verch grew up in the Ottawa Valley of Canada, where French, Irish, Scottish, German and Polish settlers blended their musical heritages into a distinct sound that gave her inspiration.
