BETHEL – The third in a series of three seminars on living gluten free will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, at Telstar High School.

The workshop will be a cooking class using gluten free flours. A selection of foods will be prepared using a combination of alternative grains and ways to convert typical gluten-containing foods to gluten-free.

The class is suggested for people who are newly diagnosed, have family members who cannot eat gluten, caregivers of people who are gluten intolerant or have celiac disease, or those who just want to try out some new recipes. Those attending are encouraged to bring a recipe to share.

Suzanne Dunham is offering the cooking session. She is an herbalist who has concentrated on nutrition especially on gluten intolerance.

To register, contact Dunham at 665-2967 or [email protected]. The fee is $15 and includes handouts, gluten free foods and recipes.
