LEWISTON – The Lewiston Demons captured its third straight win in the Western Maine Youth Football League (Grades 7-8), a 32-6 triumph over AYS of Jay-Livermore.

Joe McKinnon tallied the first 3 touchdowns on runs of 8- and 12-yards and on a 16-yard pass reception from Chris Madden. Also hitting paydirt for the Demons were Matt Therrien and Steve Patrie.

In jayvee action, Lewiston prevailed 6-0 on a 40-yard pass from Adam Poliquin to Patrie. The defensive effort was led by Devon Beland who intercepted 3 passes.

Lewiston closes out its season Thursday with the annual battle with Auburn Recs at Walton Field at 6:30.

The jayvee game is set for 5:00.
