LEWISTON – Christopher J. Knox of Westbrook has joined the law firm of Bonneau & Geismar, P.A., 100 Lisbon St., as an associate following his recent admission to the Maine Bar.

A native of Maine, Knox earned a bachelor of arts degree in English from Boston College in 1996. After working in domestic and international trade within the seafood industry, he attended the University of Maine School of Law and was awarded a degree in 2007 with a cum laude distinction. While in law school, he served as a contracts teaching assistant and worked as a tax intern at the firm of Baker, Newman & Noyes in Portland. He also spent a semester as an extern at the U.S. Attorney’s Office, bankruptcy division.

He will concentrate his practice primarily in trusts, estates and transactional law.
