The Minot Historical Society held its September meeting at the West Minot Grange Hall. A scrapbook made by Cynthia Trundy, recording articles and pictures of the 18-year ministry of Lawrence Hathorne as pastor of the West Minot Union Church, was presented to Nancy Conant, society archivist. Originally, the book had been given to Mr. Hathorne. After his death, his wife returned it to the church. From the left are Nancy Conant, Frances Lodge, pastor of the West Minot Union Church, and Cynthia Trundy. Also presented was a written history of the church from its beginning in 1802 to the present day.
