1965 – Last state championship for Fryeburg, which has qualified for the Class B playoffs for the first time in the Campbell Conference era.

2001 – Last Western C regular-season championship for Winthrop. The Ramblers could wrap up another crown with a win over Lisbon tonight,

1995 – The last year Lisbon failed to qualify for the Western C playoffs.

2004 – Cape Elizabeth’s first season in Western Class B. The Capers played a Class C schedule in ’03 and lost their final game to the Buckfield-Dirigo cooperative team.

1989 – Most recent playoff appearance for Dirigo, which dropped its program for more than a decade shortly thereafter. The Cougars could make the Class C cut with a win and some help tonight.

1980, 1991, 2004 – The most recent seasons when a Jay-Livermore Falls game determined a conference championship. Tonight’s renewal of the rivalry will settle both teams’ playoff aspirations.

1984 – The last time a Pine Tree Conference team successfully defended the Class A championship. It was Lawrence, then, as well, although there was a higher ‘AA’ division at the time.
