Quaker, also strong on multiplying varieties, now brings us Mini Delights – “bite-sized light crispy multigrain cakes” – in 0.7-ounce 90-calorie packs (six to a 4.2-ounce box). Current flavors are buttered popcorn, chocolatey drizzle and cinnamon streusel. These are not to be confused with Quaker’s Quakes, nine varieties of mini rice cakes, sold in 3.5-ounce bags each said to be about seven 0.5-ounce, 60-calorie servings.

LOADED SOUP

There is another new collection of soup varieties from Campbell, a subdivision of Campbell’s Chunky line. The Chunky Fully Loaded selections are stroganoff-style beef, turkey pot pie, beef stew, and rigatoni and meatball. They seem to be priced about 40 cents more per can than the Chunky varieties that are only partially loaded.
