FARMINGTON – W.G. Mallett School will hold its annual “Helping Hands” food pass on Friday, Nov. 9. Students will begin forming a line from Mallett School to the Farmington Community Center at 9 a.m. The food pass will be from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m.
Cascade Brook students will walk to the Community Center to deliver their food.
The food is passed along the line from child to child. After the food is passed, children view the many boxes of collected food, which is then transported to the Care and Share Food Closet.
The project is made possible by the volunteers who give their time. Parents and community members are invited to join the food pass or make a donation. For more information, contact Pauline Rodrigue at 778-3707.
