LEWISTON – The wedding of Jennifer Turgeon and Robert Montgomery was held at 1 p.m. June 16 at Holy Cross Church in Lewiston. The Rev. Daniel Greenleaf officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Montgomery is the daughter of Norm and Betty Turgeon of Lewiston. Mr. Montgomery is the son of John Montgomery of Exton, Pa., and the late Lori Marie Shinn.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white strapless corset gown with layered Chantilly lace overlay, frosted with pearls, seed beads and bugle beads and sequins and a Cathedral length train. She carried a bouquet of peonies, hydrangea, sweet pea, freesia and Calla lilies.
Kassie Ludwig, friend of the couple, was honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Jaime Wright and Nicole Casey, friends of the couple, and Amanda and Shawna Montgomery, sisters of the bridegroom.
James DeRocker, friend of the couple, performed the duties of best man. Ushers were John Goff, brother of the bridegroom, Stephen Turgeon, brother of the bride, and Nicholas Saunders, friend of the couple.
A reception followed at the Hilton Garden Inn Riverwatch, after which the couple traveled to Sandals Grande Ocho Rios in Ocho Rios, Jamaica.
The bride is a 2002 graduate of Lewiston High School and received her bachelor’s degree in interior design from Philadelphia University in 2006. She is an interior designer at TRO Jung/Brannen in Boston, Mass.
The bridegroom is a 2001 graduate of Downingtown High School in Downingtown, Pa., and received his bachelor’s degree in marketing from Philadelphia University in 2005. He is a marketing assistant.
