LEWISTON – The wedding of Julie M. Blanchette and Michael Maloney was held at Promises to Keep in Derry, N.H. David Ried officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Maloney is the daughter of Robert and Anita Blanchette of Lewiston. The bridegroom is the son of Richard and MaryEllen Maloney of Lowell, Mass.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. Angie Wyand of Merrimack, N.H., friend, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Maura McCabe and Meghan Maloney of Lowell, Mass., sisters of the bridegroom, Stephanie St. Laurent of Auburn, friend, Nicole Desjardins of Lewiston, friend, Kathleen Bobo of Cotuit, Mass., friend, and Laurie Gellmen of Woburn, Mass., friend. Erin and Elizabeth McCabe, nieces, were flower girls.

John Young of Lowell, Mass., friend, served as best man. Ushers were Peter Blanchette of Westbrook, brother of the bride, David Zbieg of Derry, N.H., friend, and Justin Briere of Milford, N.H., friend. Timothy McCabe, nephew, was ring bearer.

A reception followed at Promises to Keep in Derry, N.H. After a honeymoon to St. Lucia, the couple is residing in Londonderry, N.H.

The bride is a graduate of St. Dominic Regional High School and Rivier College. She is a teacher for the Londonderry School District.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Lowell High School and New Hampshire Technical College. He is a supervisor at ECRM.
