MERRIMACK, N.H. (AP) – A 17-year-old New Hampshire driver has been charged with fleeing the scene of an accident after his car smashed through one tree, flipped end over end and hit a second tree 30 yards into the woods.

Police said they arrested Eric Dearborn of Nashua early Sunday morning after using dogs to help locate him. They charged him with conduct after an accident and resisting arrest. Two 17-year-old passengers were released to their parents.

All refused medical treatment.
