LEWISTON – The Auburn Ski Association will hold its annual ski swap from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 10 and 11, at Bates Mill 2. Drop-off for items to be sold will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10.
This is a new location for the ski swap.
The ski swap has expanded from alpine and cross-country equipment, and now includes snowboard and skating equipment, in addition to a selection of winter apparel and accessories.
In addition to the traditional “swap” of used equipment, vendors from all across New England will display a wide selection of brand new products at pre-season prices and can assist with fitting and technical recommendations.
The nonprofit association provides funding to several youth ski programs, including Central Maine Adaptive Sports, Special Olympics, Auburn Middle School and Edward Little High School ski teams and other area programs, such as Lost Valley Race Club.
Additionally, the swap funds scholarships for higher education.
