Philip W. Sugg Middle School eighth graders hosted the Little Caesar’s pizza fundraiser from October 1 through 12. The fundraiser offered a lot of great varieties and delicious frozen goods such as pizzas, crazy bread, cookies, and pizza pie kits. On Thursday, October 18 students picked up their orders at the PWS gymnasium from 6 to 8 p.m. The pick-up time was crucial. If students were unable to make it to PWS for the pickup, products ordered and not picked up needed to be destroyed. There reason was because the goods were frozen and would only stay that way for a limited about of time.
For every item sold for the fundraiser, $5 was donated to the eighth grade class. The money will go toward trips and other class events.
From all reports this fundraiser was a big hit. Everyone was eager to sell the products and it was the buss of the eighth grade talk. The grand total of profit was $1280. Good job eighth grade students that was an outstanding fundraiser.
