Church fair

JAY – The St. Rose Christmas Fair will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, at St. Rose Parish Hall. There will be a meal available for a small price. There will also be a raffle with more than 50 prizes.

Christmas fair

PHILLIPS – There will be a Christmas fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, at the Community House. A variety of crafts, baked goods, candy, new and gently used items will be ready for shoppers.

Those wishing to cook or donate to the fair may bring their gifts to the Community House from 10 a.m. to noon Friday, Nov. 16, or before 9 a.m. Saturday. The fair is sponsored by the Shared Ministry Women.

Variety at fair

FARMINGTON – The Trinity United Methodist Women of Farmington are preparing for their annual Christmas fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17. There will also be a turkey and biscuit meal with dessert from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Trinity United Methodist Church, Route 2.

The fair will offer a variety of gifts for all occasions. On hand will be Thanksgiving and Christmas decorations, needlework, knitted goods, handmade gifts, plants, baked goods and candy, jams, jellies and relishes. There will also be a cookie walk.

All proceeds will be directed to projects focusing on women and children, the mission emphasis of the United Methodist Women.

Tables available

WILTON – The 14th annual Mt. Blue High School Christmas Craft Fair will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, at the Nichols Expo (GH Bass), Route 156. Tables are still available.

The Mt. Blue High School junior and senior classes will host the 14th annual fair. Last year there were more than 150 tables. All profits will go toward Project Graduation.

There will be no flu shots this year.

The Franklin County Sheriff’s Department will do free finger printing and a special screening test.

There will also be raffles and a Chinese auction as well as a continental breakfast until lunch is served. The Wilton Free Public Library will sell books.

Circle fair

PHILLIPS – The Reed’s Mill Circle will hold a holiday fair on Saturday, Nov. 17, at 14 School St., behind the library.

There will be a variety of handcrafted items for sale. For more information, call Claudia Boucher at 639-5281.

Holly Fair

RANGELEY – The Barn of the Rangeley Congregational Church, UCC, High Street, will be full to the brim with crafts for holiday giving as the church holds its annual Holly Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17.

The women of the church have been meeting throughout the year to create items for this sale. Many new and different gifts for holiday giving will take their places alongside homestitched aprons, knitted, crocheted and quilted pieces. Decorative angels, gifts for pets as well as items made by the men of the church will be available. Food sale goodies will accompany the traditional cookie walk. There will be a Santa’s Seconds table and many a hostess gift basket.

The Rangeley Lakes Regional High School senior class will piggy-back with the church to serve a lunch in the Little Mountain School space from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
