Ever wonder why politicians are treated like bosses, when it’s actually the voters that gave them their jobs? (Although a majority of voters did a lousy job in the last two elections.)

Then, as employers of these people, the voters should be able to fire them at any time for not doing their job. Many people are broke; everyone is paying way too much for oil; the nation is wasting money it doesn’t have on a war it shouldn’t be in; and the country is still acting as if it were the world’s banker.

It’s time to start the firing process. Unfortunately, voters have to wait another year. Would anyone hire back the same people who got this nation into this mess?

Fortunately, the top two can’t be rehired, but the rest might make a difference. At least they say they will. Most of them spend their whole term trying to get rehired for four more years.

So we all have a chance to hire a new crew next year. But if people don’t vote, they have no room to complain.
