FARMINGTON – Franklin Memorial Hospital is expanding its Ben Franklin Center library hours to evenings, beginning Saturday, Dec. 1. The library is open to the public and is used by medical staff and hospital personnel.

The public is invited to check out the library’s collection of health resources, including books, journals, pamphlets, videotapes and DVDs.

Staff is dedicated to helping visitors use the available resources to find answers to their health questions, with a librarian available for assistance from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday.

Also available are public computer terminals with high-speed Internet access and health-related electronic resources, librarian assistance with searches for specific health topics and photocopying of books and journals.
