Dear Sun Spots: I am appealing to your readers as I feel someone may be able to help me. In December of last year I was hurt and have been unable to work. Money being extremely tight and bills needing to be paid, I got together with a good friend and together we started a business from our stash of fabrics and crafts. We spent the summer doing some craft shows and think we can be successful. Our biggest problem is space. We both live in small trailers and have no extra room or extra income so storage rentals are out of the question.

Is there anyone out there who would be willing to help us with our storage space issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please call Julie at 926-5920 and Cindy 966-1178. – Julie, New Gloucester.

Dear Sun Spots: I am interested in wax or leftover candles for my craft projects. Also interested in baskets and large tins that are in good shape. Please call Jean in Lewiston at 784-8111. – Jeanne, Lewiston.

Dear Sun Spots: Once more I need your help. I have been knitting hats throughout the year, and I would like to donate them to the homeless shelter on Lincoln Street. Who do I contact to give them to? Thank you. – Jean Bosse, Auburn.

Answer: Hope Haven Mission is at 209 Lincoln St., at 783-6086. You might also check to get an updated list of needs other than what you plan on offering.

Dear Sun Spots: We are looking for prospective foster and adoptive parents.
