LEWISTON – Alex Gregoire scored two goals Sunday, but his Lewiston Junior Maineiacs Bantam Travel ‘B’ hockey team was unable to fend off Bangor, 4-3, in a tough, physical contest.

Frankie Welch also scored a goal for Lewiston (2-2-1). Devin Bilodeau registered a pair of assists for the Maineiacs, with Brett Vallee and David Cusson notching one helper apiece. Austin Gervais was Lewiston’s goalie.

Lewiston hosts a pair of games at Androscoggin Bank Colisee this weekend. Central Maine pays a visit at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, with Capital District providing the opposition at 11 a.m. Sunday.
