LEWISTON – Penmor Lithographers of Lewiston earned three awards, including best of show, at the 2007 Printing Industries of New England Awards of Excellence banquet held Nov. 1 in Framingham, Mass.

Paul Fillion, Penmor’s president, accepted the awards.

Penmor competed against 52 New England firms that submitted 342 entries.

The 34-page Steinway Lyngdorf Model D System catalog with a foiled stamped cover designed by Agency Saks of New York City took first place in the catalog category. It was then cited as best of show at the close of the evening’s ceremonies.

Penmor also received a second place award for producing Connecticut’s Westminster School application package, designed by Plainspoke of Portsmouth, N.H.

The event was judged by three print professionals from outside the New England region to ensure objectivity.
