Due to the high volume of announcements about upcoming holiday events, the Sun Journal requests that items be submitted to our Community News department at least one week prior to the date the event is scheduled to be held. Items for the Check it Out calendar should be submitted two weeks before the event, and items submitted to Encore should be submitted 10 days in advance of the event to allow time to publish the information.
