AUBURN – Andrew Harris, director of L/A Arts, will present “Dylan Thomas and a Child’s Christmas in Wales” for the After Dark Club on Tuesday, Nov. 20.

The public is invited to attend the meeting, which will begin at 7 p.m. at the Woman’s Literary Union, 19 Elm St.

British born, Harris trained as an actor/educator in London and attended the University of London and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. He gained a BEd in arts education and MMA in theater.

In Maine Harris has appeared on stage at The Public Theatre and Portland Stage Company and appeared on the History Channel in the docudrama, “Desperate Crossing, the Real Story of the Mayflower!”

To keep his time maximized, he is an affiliate artist at Portland Stage and the artistic director of the Maine Performing Arts Festival, Bethel. As an educator and professional stage actor and director, he has worked with the Royal Shakespeare Company, the Globe, London, and the Royal National Theatre.

He founded and was artistic director of Merchants Theatre, a professional company of actors maintaining the traditions of the medieval traveling players, and hopes to revive the undertaking in Maine.
