MEXICO – Beginning the week of Nov. 26, Preschool Story and Craft Hour at the Mexico Public Library will be held on a new day and time. The weekly event will make a change from Tuesdays at 10 a.m. to Mondays at 10 a.m.

The first hour will be held on Monday, Nov. 26, and continue on that day and time through to next June.

With the new schedule, there will be no story and craft hour on holidays that fall on Mondays or on school storm days that fall on Mondays.

Activities during the hour include reading age-appropriate stories together, then working on a simple craft project to take home.

Each time a child attends story hour during a given month, his or her name will be entered into a drawing. Staff will draw the name of the winner on the final week of the month.

All children ages 2 to 5 are welcome. For more information, call the library at 364-3281.
