Wreath sale
RUMFORD – Christmas wreaths will be for sale at the Rumford Grange from 1 to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 24 and 25. There will be evergreen and candy cane wreaths available.
Evergreen wreaths will be made in three sizes from 12 to 28 inches, decorated or plain. Prices range from $4 for an undecorated wreath to $16 for a decorated 28-inch wreath.
Candy cane wreaths are also available in small, large and extra large, decorated or undecorated. The prices of candy cane wreaths are $10 to $26. Other large wreaths and sprays will be available.
To order in advance, call Vicki at 364-2129. All proceeds will benefit the Rumford Grange.
Society speaker
MEXICO – The Mexico Historical Society will meet at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, at Calvin Lyons meeting room at the Town Hall for a potluck supper. The 2008 dues of $5 are due. Speaker will be Town Manager John Madigan. The winner of the Maine watermelon tourmaline pendant was Pauline Kirtsey of Weld.

Fair, tea
BETHEL – A Christmas fair and tea will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, at the West Parish Congregational Church, United Church of Christ, Church Street.
The event will include traditional Christmas tea, a cookie walk, handcrafted items and decorations.
Networking
RUMFORD – A community networking meeting, sponsored by the River Valley Healthy Communities Coalition, is scheduled for noon Wednesday, Nov. 28, at the Rumford Public Library.
Jason Hall, director of agency relations with the Good Shepherd Food-Bank, will speak about the services the agency provides. There will also be a local representative to explain the River Valley area food cupboards.

Class luncheon
RUMFORD – The Stephens High School class of 1954 will meet for luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, at the Route 2 Diner at Rumford Center. Classmates and guests are welcome.
